Not entirely helpful

The most informative part of this book was the description of it here on Amazon. If you are like me and always forgetting the exact meaning of acronyms after having several thrown at you at once, this book' s going to be useless. And I'm not a newb. I've got 7 years experience as a government procurement specialist and I had trouble keeping track of all the alphabet soup and buzz word side salad going on here. If all you want is a non-indexed list of PMP terms with bare bones definitions, this could be useful. If you were hoping for a book that would help blow the dust off you previous knowledge, not so much. If you are newb? Forget it!

Last minute studying & Quick review

This is not the book that you need for all of the basics if you have never even heard of the PMP before. But if you are like me, and have been in the business for years, then this book is the one you want to use for quick review right before the test. I also used the Bottom Line Up Front guide to help identify those areas I already knew and allow me to concentrate on the sections I was shaky on. The information is presented in a very concise format, but there are times when a to-the-point guide is much more valuable.
